Terms & Conditions
Last updated: February 2026
1. Overview
TakeIt ("we", "us", "our") provides a WhatsApp-based medication reminder service ("Service"). By subscribing to and using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
TakeIt sends medication reminders via WhatsApp at times you configure. You interact with the Service entirely through WhatsApp — setting schedules, confirming doses, and managing your account. Depending on your plan, you may also designate a "Watcher" (Care Backup) who receives alerts when reminders go unanswered.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to subscribe. If you are setting up TakeIt for a minor or dependent, you are responsible for their use of the Service.
4. Subscription & Billing
- All plans are billed annually via our payment partner, Paddle.
- New subscribers receive a 14-day free trial on their first subscription.
- After the trial period, your payment method will be charged for the annual amount.
- Prices are displayed in USD. Final pricing in your local currency is shown at checkout.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued.
5. Plans & Features
- Personal — Up to 2 daily reminders, one-tap replies, weekly summaries.
- Care — Up to 4 daily reminders, 1 Watcher (Care Backup), missed-dose follow-ups.
- Care Plus — Higher limits, multiple Watchers, escalation rules, monthly reports.
We reserve the right to modify plan features or pricing with reasonable notice. Active subscribers will be notified before any change affects their current billing period.
6. Watcher (Care Backup) Feature
When you designate a Watcher, you confirm that you have their consent to share limited information (your name and missed-dose notifications) with them via WhatsApp. TakeIt is not responsible for actions taken (or not taken) by Watchers.
7. Not Medical Advice
TakeIt is a reminder tool, not a medical device or healthcare provider. The Service does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. Always follow your doctor's instructions regarding medication. TakeIt is not liable for missed doses or health outcomes.
8. Privacy & Data
We collect your name, phone number, email, and medication schedule names (not medication contents). Messages are processed through WhatsApp's infrastructure. We do not sell your data. For full details, contact us at info@takeit.care.
9. Availability & Limitations
The Service depends on WhatsApp and internet connectivity. We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for delays caused by WhatsApp outages, network issues, or device settings (e.g., Do Not Disturb).
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by canceling your subscription or sending a stop command via WhatsApp. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TakeIt's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or WhatsApp. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
